Rawan Abbas is an Egyptian visual artist based in Cairo. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Applied Arts, Helwan University. She has also studied fine art at Cardiff Metropolitan University. Her work is informed by her Egyptian heritage, the vast body of visual and literary works that she came across and the accumulation of culture and beliefs that shape society.
